Publisher NIS made several announcements at this year's Tokyo Game Show, including a brand new game in development by Japanese studio Acquire Corp. Titled Clan of Champions (working title), this multiplatform action game features a western fantasy art style and six-player competitive modes.
In Clan of Champions, you select one of three races: human, elf, or orc, and customize your character's appearance and combat abilities. By using a single weapon, your character can develop a mastery of that weapon.
This announcement comes as a surprise to many followers of NIS games, as the company's long-standing history of complex strategy games stands in stark-contrast to Clan of Champion's aesthetic.
Clan of Champions is scheduled to launch next year on the PS3, 360, and PC.
