Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will receive an update soon that will introduce a number of polish items and fixes such as connectivity optimization, Sledgehammer Games studio head Michael Condrey recently revealed in a blogpost.
A roll out window was not offered for the upcoming update which will include the following:
- Prestige reset issues, including emblems and challenges.
- Adjustment to the in-game chat names notifications placement.
- Fix for weapon reloads counting as speed reloads in certain circumstances.
- Connectivity optimizations.
- Fix for stats accumulating towards leaderboards after prestiging.
- Adjustment to challenges to unlock Camos for weapons.
- Fix for round-based game modes, affecting Win/Loss ratios.
- Implemented ability to unlock eSports Rule options in Private Match.
The latest installment of the Call of Duty franchise began suffering mulitplayer performance issues when it launched worldwide last week, with players reporting game-breaking multiplayer lag, "service is not available" messages and match disconnects. Most reports were linked to the PC and PlayStation 4 versions of the game.
