The Commodore 64, arguably the first gaming PC, is 25 years old today.
Commodore started selling its Commodore 64 PCs for US$599 and managed to reduce the price to $199 over time. Althought eh Commodore 64 was the first million selling computer, eventually, the machine was eclipesed by Apple and IBM, and the Commodore company has been out of business since 1994.
