Do you have a loud or quite computer fan in your tower?

Mines Quiet, since mine was made for gaming, it was made with more fans put in and toned down the volume of them.

Are those laptop cooler fans worth the $10?

yes they are, I game with mine and without it I hit around 80 - 90c(about 180 degrees for the math intolerant). I honestly need one myself.

Have you tried cleaning your computers fans in the laptop. I heard it can help a lot with cooling

Its actually been cleaned, its just the fan doesn't have a lot of power to it =\
