Con Air 2

So, I was reading the other day on a website I frequent and I came across an article that said about the possibility of Con Air 2 which would take Nicolas Cage into space.

Not sure how they would work a sequel to a movie like Con Air and move it into space to be honest.

What are your thoughts? Could Con Air 2 work and would it work being set in outer space?

I agree. It's like they are running out of ideas so instead lets make a sequel to a movie that doesn't really need one. I personally can not see how they would make a Con Air 2 work to be honest with you as I could never see that movie continuing.

It was great movie, but I agree, it should not have a sequel. There is literally no reason for it as far as plots go. Could they make money from it? Probably. There are probably a lot of people who would go see it even if they didn't agree with the idea. Though honestly the whole "journey into space" feels more than a little desperate. While it could work for things it doesn't really fit Con Air.
