Console OS on a Microsoft Surface Pro 3 does seem to run pretty well.

Android is better for tablets than Windows because there are more touch friendly apps for tablets, and a lot of the Paid Apps and in-app purchases in the Windows 8 Store are more expensive than Android, and iOS apps.

But, the library of programs and games for Windows is very big since Windows been around for many years longer than Android.

what exactly is the console OS? First I'm hearing of it.

Console OS is an Android Operating System for installing on more powerful Desktops, laptops, and tablets, so you can play Android games on higher video quality settings.

I also maybe more likely to buy the MS Surface Pro 3 now that it is more easy to install Android on to it.

If the Surface Pro 3 also can easily install different operating system like Ubuntu Linux, Steam OS, Linux Mint, and Windows 7, I think it would be a nice tablet with a keyboard cover compared to un-official Microsoft tablets made by other companies like Dell, HP, Acer, etc which make their tablet cheaply by using cheap parts, and labor, so they can make more money by selling them for high prices, but still using lower quality cheaper parts and labor.
