Continuous learning in a job

As long as you learn enough.

Exactly
But unfortunately there isn't much learning is my current role and I am really getting tired of it

Learning more tasks could be useful for finding other jobs, or doing more tasks within the same company.

I think continous learning may not be needed for some jobs like workers who repair old things like typewriters where the design, and parts never change because the products are no longer being made.

Some workplaces like offices may still be using old software like Windows XP and Office 2003 where there may not be much to learn if you learn most oof the tasks for Windows XP and MS Office 2003.
