Possibly, I think Internet TV could make TV popular since it is on demand, and accessable from school, the library, and homes with internet.

But, I think internet TV would still have reality shows like The Kardashians, Cribs, Jersey Shore, MTV, Reality TV, and a bunch of cheaply made reality shows which are hard to relate to, or not very entertaining for people who are not into pop culture, or celebrity.

I'm pretty certain that's already hapenning with websites like Hulu. It's a paid subscription thing for most shows, but it's cheaper than cable. This is just my opinion, but I think mainstream television is entering a phase where it's going slowly extinct. Technology is evolving past what the modern television can keep up with.

I read a lot of people used Biittorent to share large video files, free software like Ubuntu/Linux for free without using much bandwidth from their ISP since seeders just upload a few KB/s of data per second with their ISP, and if there are a lot of seeders the download rate can be very fast in the MB/s.

A lot of anime, and movies still use Bittorent to share videos online.

I can see Bittorent being a popular way to share public domain/free shows, and shows which are already paid for by sponsored ads from companies who can afford to buy ads to make a show in exchange for advertisement at the beginning of the show like movies which force people to view ads for Coca Cola, and car commercials before the movie begins.

Funny thing, that. Bit torrent apps like VUZE (Used to be called Azureus) Has an infrastructure like that already set up. Too bad no major film studios picked up on that idea yet.
