Surprise, surprise, the recent Crash release is getting some free DLC!
Stormy Ascent was designed by Naughty Dog but ultimately cut from the original Crash Bandicoot because of its extremely high difficulty. Previously, players could only access the hidden level on the original PlayStation 1 Crash disc by using devices like GameShark or CodeBreaker.
Stormy Ascent looks most similar to Slippery Climb, as both levels use the same assets and have Crash slowly ascend Doctor Neo Cortex's gloomy fortress later in the story. However Stormy Ascent is reportedly four times larger than any other level in Crash Bandicoot and is said to be one of the most difficult levels in the entire N. Sane Trilogy.
This DLC is free till August 21st 2017 and then will be sold at 2.99 USD
