Crysis 2

Well when it launched I saved up the money to buy it and then I when I got it, I loved the game. In two days I was a few hours in, been busy. The third day I had to shift my home. After being done with moving, I sat down to play and I lost the disc, I searched all my boxes and never found it. I still have the empty case. This ruined the game for me and I never got around to playing it.

Well for starters, I'll point out the obvious: this game is freakin' gorgeous. The textures, the animations, the particle effects, everything is absolutely beautiful in this game. But, is there more to it than just eye candy? I answer that with a hesitant "meh?"

Was it a fun game? Sure. The Crysis trilogy is a set of pretty decent shooters with interesting plots. But are they good enough to enter the Video Game Hall of Fame? Not really, at least not the later entries. The first Crysis (and Warhead) were fantastic games and one of the best shooters of the time. They were honestly a pivotal point in both graphics and gameplay. I'd dare to say they are indeed Hall of Fame worthy.

But Crysis 2 and 3 didn't really bring anything particularly fresh to the table. In fact, I think they actually took away some of the elements of the original Crysis which made it so much fun. They're okay for a fun few hours, but easily forgettable.

never played it but it does look fun, I need to check it out.
