Current video game lifespan

Let's be honest people, those who are reading this right now have to admit we were born into a good time for many great video game series weather it be Mario to zelda, Final fantasy to god of war, or to halo to call of duty.

But as we grow older so do the people making them and soon the people making them will retire to either let the series die or to be continued by someone else who might not do such a great job as the person who made it.

So when the original people who started all these great video game series retires what do you want to see happen to their video game series?

A couple of things could happen. Someone new could have came along and learned of developing this game series in its final years and decided to keep it going with same passion the last person had for it. Another thing that could happen would be game takes on new direction and just flops hard into the ground. Or the third option. Game just dies with the creator and so on.

I say though people that created them won't die for At least another 30-60 years though. Maybe more if they are healthy. As most of the people creating these games are somewhere in 20s-30s at the moment. Few older ones as well. Still awhile though I say.

Well, lets just see what happens to Mario when Miyamoto leaves our world. That would be a great example of what might happen.
