DailyMotion.com just sent an email to all their members informing them that they have developed an amp-dailymotion component that allows people to easily embed their player in AMP pages.

Our AMP player is here
On Wednesday, Google began including Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) in its mobile search results. The open source initiative aims to speed up the mobile web by loading pages 4x faster.

Good news. The Dailymotion player is already AMP compliant. User experience and speed are two of our top priorities. That's why when the AMP project launched four months ago, we jumped on the opportunity to join other technology leaders in improving the mobile web.

Specifically, we developed an amp-dailymotion component that allows you to easily embed our player in your AMP pages. If you modify your website to be AMP compliant, rest assured our player is ready—putting your content in the fast lane.

Together, let’s build a better mobile web.

It seems that DailyMotion is doing everything they can to attract members and content creators. What do you think?

I like the strives they are making. Though they just need to view any youtube hate message and make it right on their service.

All they need to do now is improve their design a little, and maybe content creators might consider it as a worthy YouTube alternative...

I think there are some Content Creators which also upload their videos to Dailymotion as well. I think Dailymotion should make a tool for easily and quickly uploading many videos at once.

Then they would just become a video dumpster where people just upload random stuff filmed with their cellphone. They aim to build up a platform for quality content like gameplays, vlogs and creative videos.

I think there are a large audience of people who like watching random videos filmed on cellphone. Cellphones can now record videos in HD, and even 4K video for better smartphones.

Maybe Dailymotion should create free online courses on how to create online videos which more people want to watch, and have a random section on their website for random videos, so random videos don't get mixed in the gameplay, vlogs, and short film video categories.
