so I was listening to my music playlist on youtube today and saw I had a blank video (videos deleted by youtube) on it. So I went to my list to see what it was only to see the words "video deleted" next to the blank video.

I said shit and thought youtube finally found a way to cut back on people listening to paid music for free. luckily if you click on the video then it still gives a brief glimpse of the name of the video so you can possibly find another.

so point of all this, youtube is getting smarter. which is bad >_

Maybe it was the user who deleted the video because it was getting a lot of troll comments or thumbs downs.

I just use keepvid or another similar video downloading service or program to download all my videos and songs I plan on listening to again in the future, and convert them to MP3.

It also saves me bandwidth, and time rather then searching for videos, and re-streaming them to listen to them.

It is most likely the record company employees, other users, 'fans of the musician who feel you should buy their music, and not listen to their songs for free', trolls, or the musician themselves flagging videos for copyright violations since YouTube only deletes videos if it has a copyright claim by the owner of the song or media, or someone bans their videos and songs from being streamed for free on YouTube.

The anime or TV company can also flag the video for copyright violations if they see someone using pictures, and videos on YouTube videos without permission.

This could just mean the music, anime, TV, and movie companies are just hiring, or telling its fans to flag copyrighted videos to prevent people from streaming their files.

I think the music industry caught on that there are YouTube video to MP3 converters, and the TV, anime, and movie industry found out there are YouTube video downloader software, so they don't want people downloading their content for free instead of importing, buying it on YouTube, so they hire a bunch of people who spend all day searching for copyrighted videos to flag for deletion.

YouTube is just following the orders of the Copyright owners, and people who report copyright violation who are flagging videos for copyright infringement since if it does not remove the videos, YouTube risk being seized by the government/ICE like all the other file sharing and streaming websites which share or stream copyrighted videos, and YouTube does not want to deal with lawsuits which can bankrupt YouTube if a judge demands YouTube pay billions of dollars in legal bills.

One thing I have noticed is that Youtube mostly goes for Anime and Gaming related videos mostly. Like in the past few days, There was a leaked MW3 video which showed the menu for just a while and it got deleted within 24 hours!

I find it strange that leaked video for MW3 will be remove since it is like free advertising for their games by YouTubers.

The companies can probably just make fake accounts, and say it is leak content to get more views then commercial videos. If they don't want video to be leak, they should not encode the video for employees to watch.
