Another big announcement came out of the Microsoft Press Conference at E3 2011. A sequel to the most successful Kinect dance game has been announced with Dance Central 2. It will allow all songs from the first Dance Central to be imported into it, giving it a track list of over 100 songs at launch.

Even more exciting is the addition of local multiplayer to the franchise. Dance Central 2 will allow two players to dance side-by-side, head to head. Finally, true local multiplayer comes to Kinect dancing.

This game was one of the games I felt weren't really necessary. I have a bad feeling this franchise is going to be milked into repetitiveness. Just the way Guitar Hero was. But I could be wrong. Maybe they'll innovate enough to where you don't have to worry about it going stale. I personally doubt it though.

Dance Central is an awesome game actually. We played it on parties at my house and had some freaking fun. Just the bad thing is that it doesn't store the pics taken, cause it would be awesome to see the pictures of last night. Hahah.
