Darth Vader Robs New York Bank

The Empire must have been hit hard by the economy.

Suffolk County police say they are searching for a man who robbed a Chase bank early Thursday morning dressed as Darth Vader.

Police say the man used a gun to demand cash from the bank's teller before exiting through the parking lot and riding away on a motorbike. It's currently unclear how much the Sith Lord made away with.

They are looking for a man described as around 6-feet tall.

I wonder where he got the costume. He must be a nerd desperate for cash since star wars collectable and video games are not cheap. It is sad he had to resort to a life of crime.
