DayZ "LIKE" Game for only $20

Have you ever heard of the DayZ like game called State of Decay? This game is similar to DayZ, but not the same and it's console only at the moment.

State of Decay also known as SoD has lots of bugs though and they're expected to be fixed sometime next week according to their forums...

They also want to add CO-OP as soon as they can, SoD is the second best selling game on the xbox360 arcade, minecraft being #1.

I bought this game and it was wonderful and it's only $20 at the moment (1600 MSP) Buy it until they raise the price which I imagine they'd do very soon.
 
SoD came on a list of top ten I believe.

Never heard of that game but I just took a look. I'm definitely interested! I love DayZ, it's such a great game to play with friends. I remember when it was in early beta and we were crawling through the bushland, I broke my leg and spent hours trying to find Morphine. Never found it.. and died :( ha. I've been looking for a similar game to play that is standalone, DayZ gets a tiny bit frustrating at times so, awesome. Thanks man :)
 
Supposedly this is a really great game, if my Xbox was still around I think I would definitely pick it up. I really hope the PC version comes out sooner rather than later because I've been itching for a good survival game ever since I stopped playing DayZ. 
 
State of Decay is a reasonable zombie game. It was a bit overwhelming at first, and there are some point's which I don't like. However, the game introduces a couple of features you haven't seen earlier in zombie games (making outposts in houses and gathering resources to feed your camp etc). It's all 3rd person.

I haven't played the DLC.
If you'd like a game just to kill time and kill zombies this one is something for you.
It's something between Dead Island and Day Z.
 
This is something I will have to check. I thought DayZ was going to be a great game until all the problems started happening.
 
Also, I don't know where the Original Poster (OP) gets the idea SoD is a game "like DayZ". It has zombies in it: Yes. It has quite a large map: Yes. The character is played in 3rd Person: Yes. Don't know any other things which are similar.
