PlayStation Dead Island Definitive Collection doesn't include both games on disk

Deep Silver responded to our request for comment and said, "There are limitations where you are unable to have multiple multiplayer experiences on the same disc, unfortunately we can’t comment further." The original story follows.

When Dead Island: Definitive Collection releases on PlayStation 4, only the original game will be included on the disc. If you want to play Dead Island: Riptide, however, you'll have to download it. This is unique to the PS4, as both games are included on the Xbox One version's disc.

Strange indeed since titles like The Handsome Jack Collection are able to do it. At first it seemed like they were just too lazy to make a menu for it, because they managed to do it for Metro Redux. Either way, Deep Silver haven't had a good week with this and the poor performance of Homefront: The Revolution.
