Surprise! The thing absolutely nobody was expecting happened: some people Dead or Alive players on PC have modded the latest game so they can play with naked characters. NSFW content ahead.

Earlier this year, Dead or Alive 5: Last Round director Yohei Shimbori told MCV that Team Ninja, the developers behind the game, would “like to ask PC users to play our game in good moral and manner. Otherwise, [Team Ninja] won’t be able to release a title for PC again.” But when the game in question involves scantily-clad characters, it was really just a matter of time before someone figured out how to change the textures on the characters to be more revealing, right? Maybe I’m just cynical.
Either way, about 24 hours (!) after the release of Dead or Alive 5 on PC, there were already nudity mods for the game—like these ones, by lustfulillumination:

They really should just make the game to do this from the start. Anyways, anyone play with this mod?
 
The only thing I'm surprised at here is that they were able to figure out a nudity mod within 24 hours. I figured they'd take at least a week. I mean it's not surprising at all that they'd do this. I'd imagine they've done this for the previous games too, right?

As for whether or not I've played with this mod? I've never played any DoA games, let alone this one. So I haven't played with this mod active. There are only a few fighting games I like to play. (EX- Smash Bros, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, Budokai 3, and maybe one other.) Beyond that it's not a genre I play a lot.
 
I never understood why games would games would add this in, it does nothing for me at all and makes me not want to play it.
 
This mod sounds good for people who are into Hentai. But, I think I rather play a fighting game with characters wearing clothing since I imagine playing a game with nudity is kind of distracting.

I also live with my family, so playing a game with nudity can get kind of awkward if any of my relatives came into my room.

Also, playing this game with a Laptop or Desktop at school, in the library, and other public place may get me thrown out if they have rules against public viewing of nude photos and videos.
