It looks like a popular use for the 3DS's bottom screen when it comes to fighting games is going to be for quick move access. Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition does it. And so does Dead or Alive Dimensions.

DOA's bottom screen has two uses, actually. The game uses the bottom screen to display a full move chart for your character, complete with command inputs. You can use this as a cheat sheet for inputting moves yourself the traditional way. Or, you can tap the move on the bottom screen to make your character automatically perform it.

Joining the bottom screen details, Famitsu.com has a look at the game's "Chronicle" mode. This mode is like a story driven tutorial. As you learn the basics of the game, you'll work through a story that spans the entire series. The game promises to shed light on some previously unseen episodes from Dead or Alive lore and will feature "sub characters" like Shiden, Fame Douglas and Donovan.

Famitsu.com's print counterpart also confirms this week that Hitomi, Ryu Hayabusa, Bayman, Christie and Helena will be playable characters. Previously confirmed Ayane and Kasumi will be getting sexy original outfits for the 3DS.

Visit Famitsu.com for screens of these new features.

Dead or Alive Dimensions will be playable at the Nintendo World demo event in Tokyo later this week, so we should have impressions shortly!
