anyone else have the game?
i think im doing ok, at chapter 3 and a currant win loss ratio of 2:3.
also i like how they made the game so there would not be... perverted areas revealed on the female characters, but on the red costume of alpha-152, there's a darker red patch in the middle of her breast.
Hmm...the story mode kinda babies you to be honest...and while I liked that when I was learning, I hate the random slowing down where it'll only accept the one move they want you to do now. However, I LOVE the online mode (I'm an A- rank atm) and once you figure out how to handle Hayabusa and Genra spammers, the sky's the limit. If you want, we should go a few rounds sometime!
atm my "combos" are done by button mashing, with my best being a 9 combo(something ike PPPP^PPPPP) whats your longest combo?
and is there some broken combo with hayabusa? i like him, just cause he was my favourite in the demo.
I don't rely on combos so much as I do unpredictable moves. I tend to rely a bit much on holds, but I'm slowly learning how to expect a setup for a high counter throw. My top characters are Ein, Brad Wong, and Leon...decent with Eliot and Hayate...
Hayabusa is considered the cheapest online character, because there are several moves that inexperienced players can't ever block, and a couple interchangable ones that start the same way that can kill even the most experienced players...namely, if you hit L and the direction away from the opponent (hold these) he'll launch a version of the torn sky blast thingy, which can't be dodged accurately, only blocked by guarding (auto critical hit though). Also, when he teleports, he can do any number of things, which if varied enough and done exclusively, can take out amazing players with no problem. It's this kind of thing that makes me usually reject higher level players with Hayabusa as their favorite...that means they've mastered the cheapness and win almost every time.

generally though, i only resort to cheap spamming when im completly outclassed. which, considering i only got the game yesterday, is probably going to happen a lot.

All of the ninjas can teleport to some extent...Hayabusa is the only one that's completely cheap though...(Hayate only has one teleport move I know of, and it's a defensive one, not offensive). I'll PM you my code and add you, but I won't be available to go a round or two until tomorrow around 9 PM EST...I still have some HW to do and I have Jazz Band most of the night tonight. Yeah...especially because if our timezones are that different EST...the timezone on the west side of the US would be even farther apart...hmm...we'll figure something out haha.
