Sad news for gamers in Germany, China, and Japan as Dead Space, EA's upcoming survival horror game, has been banned due to explicit content. The game will release on October 14 for the PS3 and Xbox 360, with the PC version following shortly on the 20th.

The game, which evokes memories of System Shock 2, is shaping up nicely and looks to be delightfully bloody. The dismemberment system in the game is both satisfying and effective for killing monsters.

Ger, Jpn - Bad past, uptight society, and don't want violent citizens / uprising of Nazi or gang activity because of this. Long story short, they don't want their past (and the people who can't let it go) to come back and haunt them.
 
Banned in Japan but not the US? Wow... Also, I was reading comments and people stated that they have a whole bunch of h-games and yet this is banned? Wow...

I know there is a lot of H games in japan but horror is different. but still in japan wow.
 
H = Hentai. And I know they're different, its just that sexual content is usually considered worse than graphic content. This game must be incredibly gory.
