Techland may have inadvertently revealed the title of Dead Island's sequel. The developer has filed a trademark for the title Dead World, leading to speculation that a new Dead Island game could be on the way.
Dead Island took place entirely on the South Pacific resort island of Banoi, and expanding to a new locale would be a logical choice for a sequel. Techland and publisher Deep Silver haven't announced any official plans for a sequel, though we did recently learn that a movie is on the way.
