No one sees this as the way they will go out as but this heavily falls under freak accident.

But French fitness blogger and Instagram user Rebecca Burger died Sunday after a pressurized whipped cream canister exploded and struck her in the chest, according to a statement from her family which the force of impact killed her.

Ard’time, the manufacturer of the canister, put out a press release acknowledging the incident and urging consumers to comply with a 2013 recall effort. A French consumer magazine reported that several have exploded and knocked out people’s teeth, broken bones in users’ heads and chests, and caused other injuries. However, Burger is supposedly the first person who has actually died as a result of exploding canisters.

French authorities are investigating the accident and Burger’s family also reportedly plans to sue though hard to say if they will win due to the recall in effect.

Being killed by a whipped cream canister exploding is an unfortunate way to die.

It is disappointing that tools like Whipped Cream canisters, mechanical products like recalled airbags in cars and electronics like smartphone batteries in the Samsung Galaxy Note are poorly made where there is a chance of it exploding, and injuring or killing the user without warning signs.

Hopefully, buyers who still own this whip cream canister, so it does not harm the garbage collector, people near the garbage can, and workers who will come in contact with this dangerous whip cream canister.

RIP Rebecca Burger.
