Death Penalty

Everyone I know seems to have very strong views about the death penalty, so I figured I'd see what everyone here thinks.

So, right or wrong, good or bad, and most importantly WHY?

(As always, no flaming each other. It's just a conversation, no need to take anything personal. We all love each other...)

to tell you the truth the Death Penalty is not used enough. There are many people out there that should get it on the spot other wise there serve there time, get back out and do it all over again destroying someone else's life. This is a reason why I loved death note.

I agree with you. I am more against putting someone in jail for life without parole than just sentencing them to the death penalty. They commit serious crimes and then my dime has to support them in the prison system.

It would be great if our justice system could work like Death Note.

well prison is a pretty comfy life and really don't give these law breakers a hard time. but at least at the end of the year they can't smoke in prisons.

i live in Texas so the Death Penalty is strongly used here lol

i think it should be used more cause why put ppl in live in prison....the person would go insane....just end it already

I'm against it...If you kill a killer, even when you're supposedly acting for the hand of justice, you're murdering someone all the same.
