Destiny The Taken King

So anyone here upgrade their Destiny game to the current DLC or plan to?

I thought about it, but I don't want to shove out all that money for DLC that won't last me very long. I'm just irked that I got locked out of most of the crucible because I lack the TTK DLC.

Maybe if I can pick up the legendary edition cheap one day I might get it.

If I could get TTK alone, I might have gotten it. But I don't want to buy the other DLC for it.

I'm loving it so far, I'm loving what they have did with the new leveling system and light system, makes it feel more like a mmorpg now which is a great thing.

Also the new missions are great, I'm kinda not liking that you have to get your light level extremely high before you can even take on the Taken King but I understand it from a gamer point since its gives you something to work towards.

Also kinda letdown by the fact that all my weapons that I worked hard to leveling up and give special perks like the gjallarhorn are pretty much useless now, once you get a rocket launcher that is 200 in damage it pretty much just kills any advantage the gjallarhorn once had which is only 170 in damage, the wolfpac rounds the only viable aspect and once you get a high enough Rocket launcher it pretty much kills it.

I hate how they under leveled the guns as well, I was pretty strong and now with the update I pretty much need the TTK DLC just to be strong again.

Thinking about it. I got both expansions on PS4 and none on Xbox One. I'd probably get the legendary edition on Xbox One though as I prefer shooters on Xbox One over PS4. It'd give me a reason to jump back into Destiny as well.
