When you battle the Elite 4 and the Champion in HeartGold/SoulSilver for the first time and get up to the Champion himself, Lance, here's a small bit of information that you may not have spotted straight away. For those who have NO CLUE what I'm talking about, take a look at Lance's team.

Gyrados Lv. 46
Charizard Lv. 48
Dragonite Lv. 49
Aerodactyl Lv. 48
Dragonite Lv. 49
Dragionite Lv. 50

Did you see something wrong here? Like maybe...

Gyrados Lv. 46
Charizard Lv. 48
Dragonite Lv. 49
Aerodactyl Lv. 48
Dragonite Lv. 49
Dragionite Lv. 50

Dragonair evolves at Lv. 55, not 49 OR 50! Could Lance be...

A HACKER???!!!

So, anyone else notice this? Also, if you see any other Trainers in the game (NOT OVER WIFI OR LOCAL WIRELESS< TRAINERS PROGRAMMED INTO THE GAME.) be sure to post them here!

Meh...in Pokemon Black I caught a level 50 Tyranitar. Yes, you can encounter em.

The Dragonites were level 50 in the original Game Boy version, and he still cheated then. Heck, do you know something else? Back then, his Dragonites had barrier and his Aerodactyl had rock slide, moves they couldn't learn.

Or maybe he used the Mew glitch way back, it let you encounter level 7 versions of anything.

That happens all the time though. I found a bug catcher with a level 12 Medopod. They evolve at like level 10 or 11.

Don't forget about Ghetsis's Hydreigon, which should evolve at Lv. 64, but is like ~Lv. 52 (Can't say off the top of my head).

Speaking of which, why do so many Pokemon in Generation 5 evolve in their 40's-50's-60-'s? Some don't even evolve from their basic form until they are in their 50's, not to mention Larvesta evovles from BASIC from at Lv. 69. How do they expect the average person to have the attention span to play the game enough to obtain one when it's Basic form sucks? I mean, it's almost like you would have to go onto the Internet or buy a guide book to know it evolved at practically Lv. 70. If I didn't have Internet, I would just figure it had no evolutionary chain and stop using it because it sucks, not knowing it evolves past levels some Pokemon even learn their final move.

WEll maybe they just didn't want it to evolve, use your head.

Actually, Larvesta evolves at lv.59, not 69. Besides which, you can catch a Volcarona in Relic Castle.

^Ah, I'm trying to decide whether that was a typo or if it was what I really thought at the time.

But you know I already have my hands on that Volcanora for sure.

Edit: Soft Reseted for Timid nature and above 23 in all IV's
