No since now people who want iPad 3 can get it at a cheaper price, and people who want the latest features like a better camera, Faster iPad, and the new lightning data and charging cable connector which is slimmer can get a better iPad 4 which cost the same as the previous iPad 3 which now is discounted to a lower price.
Looking at it another way, so many apple lovers will waste their money on an upgrade to the iPad 4 with little new changes. It also means anyone that paid money for the iPad 3 now has an out of date device. They released it way too soon.
I agree people who want the latest iPad, and bought the iPad 3 before the 4, or use their iPad as a status symbol for making them feel they own better and newer devices then people with older devices would be upset.
The iPad 2-3 is still a very good tablet for most apps and games.
I think people who bought the cheaper iPad 2 when the iPad 3 got release would feel more ripped off because now the iPad 3 is cheaper, and the iPad 2 is no longer sold.
I think Apple releasing the iPad 4 will mostly benefit people who are planning to buy a iPad for someone or themselves for their birthday, or Christmas present since now they will have a slightly faster iPad 4 as a gift, or can buy an older iPad 3 for a cheaper price.
