Did I break my CPU fan(s)?

The Performance tab in Task Manager says that the CPU usage is generally about 3-6%, the Memory is 2.35 GB (out of about 6 GB), i.e. 39%

But my CPU fans have been constantly on full power for the last 10 minutes or so <______________________<

I dunno, I'm not a hardware guy...

I just restarted... as in the thing where it does the same as shut down, but immediately starts up, this was long before Zexis's post, BTW.
