Yes, it does not seem very different from FF 3.5.

never knew they upgraded. But last time I went to a new version I got screwed and had a hell of a time deupgrading. So what's different with this version?

Not yet, but then again, I haven't used Firefox in a while now..
I notice it is somewhat faster then 3,5 in some sites, and 3.6 claims that it is more secure. http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/3.6/releasenotes/
