It would be great if my monitor has built-in games like Pac-man, minesweeper, space invaders, E-book reader, or internet browser running on a computer built into the monitor while my computer is starting up, so I would have something to do for a minute while my PC is starting up.

nope since mine don't take long to boot, besides it would only increase the booting time.

If the monitor is using its own bult-in computer or another computer hook up to the monitor then it would not increase the boot-up time for the computer which is starting up since the monitor has it's own computer which is seperate from your regular computer.

I got the idea of having something to do while waiting for my DVD player, PS2 or Xbox 360 to boot into the start screen.

I usually watch TV for a few seconds while my game consoles booted into the start screen, or during long load times for some levels in a game.

Watching TV does not slow down my PS2 or Xbox 360 since the TV is using the cable box, or the TV's built-in TV tuner.

could work but then you would need a second mouse or keyboard to play on the monitor.

You can always buy a Keyboard, video, and mouse splitter to use the same Keyboard and mouse on both the monitor, and your main desktop.

Like this dude which can control two computers with the same Keyboard and mouse by hitting a switch on his Keyboard. He can do homework on his desktop if his Laptop is doing a virus scan which can slow down a slower computer. This means he won't have to deal with a laggy computer because his laptop is scanning for viruses since he switched to his desktop which is not scanning for anything.

or this guy who figured out how to connect his 360 and Computer to the same monitor, and Keyboard.

Which can come in handy if he is gaming on the 360, but need to go online to look up a cheat code, or if his PC is doing a virus scan, and he can't use his PC, so he switches to his Xbox 360 to play some games for a few hours till the scan is complete.

Indeed, but some tech savvy people are ultra smart, and finish their homework, work, taxes, and housework by using computer programs, robots, or tech, so they have a lot more free time on their hand while many of us still have to do things by hand.

Some of the very successful tech savvy people like Bill Gates can live off their earnings from selling software, games, and Operating Systems without really going to work anymore because of the huge pile of cash he made from Windows, Xbox, and Bing.
