Yes, it might be good if there were more advance controllers from offical controller company like Nintendo, MS, Sony, etc with more buttons to make switching weapons, spells, clothing, and doing combo faster for people who can remember more buttons, and like to have more buttons to make their gaming faster.

The people who prefer fewer buttons can just use simpler controller which came with the console with fewer buttons.

This is kind of anti kinect talk here But for shooters there should be some custom made controllers to make it more easier.

I don't think too much buttons on a controller would work too well... Just make it so keyboards are compatible with console games.

Those Street Fighter controllers might be pretty good for fighting games, and games which requires a lot of button combos, and switching like Real time strategy, Fighting and Shooting games.
