Leading video games publisher and developer Namco Bandai Games America Inc., announced today that Digimon World Championship has gone gold for the Nintendo DS. Intense action abounds in a new adventure based on the hit animated series that allows players to hunt, capture, and train their own Digimon for competition in a legendary tournament. Over 200 different Digimon can be found in their natural wild habitats, and once trained to their peak fighting form, they can battle for the Digimon World Championship.

Tamers can further test their skills and training by challenging friends to multiplayer battle action using Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.
