I like the idea of being able to gift someone with $$ without needing to buy a card and give someone the wallet code. It also mean less chances of things going wrong

Being honest though, let take this forum out of the picture. Let say that I went on holiday and I wanted to gift someone a wallet code (for their birthday) but it would take too long to send one in the mail. I could just do it all online and the next time that person logs into Steam they will have a gift waiting for then.

Or you could do it for internet friends as well.

Or you could buy it from any website that offers digital delivery and send them the code via email.

This sounds useful for Pc gamers who mistly stay at home , and they dont have a Paypal, bank account or Credit Card account to pay for games on Steam.
