I wonder if it would be possible to buy this Steam box with just Steam OS, and not pay the $100-200+ license fee for Windows 7-8.1 Pro, and to save space on the hard drive or SSD. There are now free alternatives like Ubuntu for people who also need a PC OS for office work, coding, image editing, and video editors instead of just a Steambox.
