Disney announces visitor-friendly price updates at its theme parks, allowing attendees to make the most of their time.
Disneyland in California will increase the number of days it will issue its lowest-priced full-day ticket, costing $104. Additionally, Disneyland visitors will have more flexibility in moving between parks thanks to the updates. Meanwhile, annual pass holders at Walt Disney World in Florida can visit the part after 2 p.m. without needing to book a reservation, except for weekends at the Magic Kingdom, while visitors staying at a Disney World resort can also access free parking. Both parks also allow free digital photo downloads to select guests, with Disneyland offering free downloads of ride photos for all ticketed entrants while Disney World provides those pictures to visitors who buy the Genie+ app, allowing them to skip lines.
A memo written by Walt Disney Parks and Resorts chairperson Josh D'Amaro stressed the need to evolve as Disney aims to offer improved customer satisfaction to guests. "As we step into this bright future it is important that we continuously evolve to help deliver the best guest experience possible," D'Amaro said. "Many of you know that I’m in the parks fairly often…and I listen to you and to our guests about the things that are working…as well as the things that might need some change."
