yep, ever since the psp came out i had that thing with me everywhere, and though i loved gaming on in, i always felt there was something missing game experience wise while i had it. i had always seen people with it, though never found people who had similar games as me to co-op with and online gaming on the psp sucked.

now that i have my 3ds, i'm gaming online on it everyday, get constant streetpasses and haven't put it down since, hence me never picking back up my psp, especially since i have tekken 3d on it now. before i mainly played tekken on my psp, now, its just something i have around that i use for virtual storage. i still have games on it, but it just seems that my 3ds has fully replaced my psp.

do any of you guys have similar stories or situations where you've completely disowned a system off of the purchase of a new one?

Welcome back to Nintendo! Good thing you enjoyed the system!

Well for me I never owned a non-Nintendo system so the new system I get always results as a full replacemant to the old one, thanks for the backwards compatibility.

If the PSP had Nintendo's games, I'd be happy.

But nope. I prefer the PSP's design (since I don't care much for touch-screen gameplay), but there just aren't many good games. I logged a TON of hours in the SOCOM games, but they are indeed shooters and don't cover my entire gaming pallet.

I love my PSP still. I havent used it in awhile but for me that system was just a port of the PS1 games. I have all 3 resident evil games on it, dino crisis, silent hill and Final Fantasy 7. I plan on getting final fantasy 9 soon. also, Megaman Powered Up is on it, which is one of the most valuable gems in gaming history in my opinion. I dont use mine anymore but I have nothing but fond memories of it.

sameboat. My brother has a psp, and it's just an awesome piece of technology, and a very slick design. For something that's almost 8 years old it still holds up incredibly well.

Some of the graphics on that system are still as good as anything on 3ds.

seems i'm not alone. i honestly haven't touched it much since i've gotten my 3ds. i just wish the sound on the 3ds was alot better so i could use it for mp3 capabilities as well
