I seen a lot of teens, and young people using iPhone 6 and 6S, and faster Android phones like the Samsung Galaxy S6, so I think many teens and young people own faster smartphones from what I see when I go out on a daily basis.

I think a lot of parents these days get their teens a faster smartphone because teens probably ask for a fast phone like an iPhone, or Galaxy S6 as a birthday or Christmas gift instead of asking for something like a computer, laptop or game console.

It is also not very hard for teens and young people to make money to buy something like an iPhone or Galaxy S6 because there are a lot of jobs which don't require a lot of education or skills like Fast food cook, grocery store clerk, cashier, baby sitting, and cleaning jobs for people who want to work, and can handle stressful situations like dealing with angry costumers.

Making a few hundred dollars online by making apps, graphics, or blogging, YouTube channel, or producing content for people is not as hard these days, so it is totally possible to make enough money on the internet to save up for a faster smartphone like an iPhone or Galaxy S6.

I do see a lot of younger people having the newest smartphones. I think some may have gotten them as a Christmas/Birthday gift, and others got it themselves by working.

I have no idea what the latest models look like (and honestly they all look the same to me) but I do see lots of smart phones.

Well, there are two type of teenagers around here: the spoilt ones who have rich parents and the latest gadgets, and the ones who have poor parents and are happy with their low-end Android cellphones and their Xbox 360.

Are there any teenagers who work at a real job to earn money?

There are some teenagers where I live who work at hard labor, and low-skilled minimum wage jobs like cleaning jobs, fast food, and farm jobs like vegetable and fruit picking.

Unless their families are incredibly poor, teenagers in my country won't get jobs until they're 18 and graduate from high-school. So, no, most teenagers around here won't work to earn money for electronics.

Spending money on a luxury item like a smartphone does not seem like a good choice when someone is incredibly poor.

There could be some teens who are secretly self-employed doing simple tasks like post on forums for cash, article writing on blogs and websites, doing paid surveys and tasks on websites like Swagbucks, and tutoring other students where teens can earn $30 or more depending on how much they work.

The user skill requirements are usually lower for earning money from paid surveys, posting on forums, and making money from writing on blogs and article sites, but you don't earn much money from these jobs. You can earn a hundred dollars a months if you work very hard at these simple tasks.

Hey, that was my childhood. Granted I did odd jobs for small money, but nothing major.
