I think there are gas car owners who may get annoyed and feel betrayed by their gas car's maker like GM, VW, and Volvo when they read news about their gas car maker like Volkswagon, GM/General Motors which make non-luxury cars like Chevy and GMC will become an all electric car maker and stop making gas and diesel fuel cars in the future according to GM is the first manufacturer to completely ditch traditional engines Volkswagen Poised To Abandon Diesel Engines Entirely | Gas 2
Volvo to end gas-only cars by 2019

I feel many gas car owners would be concerned their car's maker will also stop making official replacement parts for their older gas cars, stop fixing older gas cars at their car dealer, no longer honoring warranties and recalls on gas cars. There is also a chance that their car company will try to convince them to replace their reliable gas car with a more expensive electric car which they can't afford, or don't want to buy because of long electric battery charging times, possible reliability problems with the battery breaking after a few months or years of use, fragile electronics, and poor quality electric motors which have not been tested for many years like gas engines, and the need to install a charger in their garage or having to drive to a charging station which is far away from their home.

Well, it's a little different.
Gas cars give more mileage and less expensive. So, it's like a natural reaction. Still, I believe electric cars are the best, to save the depleting earth's resources.

I've never really seen anyone stick to one brand.

I've never really seen anyone stick to one brand.

A lot of older car brands like Saturn, Pontiac, Daewoo, and Oldsmobile are now gone, so it is difficult for many car buyers to stick to one brand when they need a new car since a lot of car brands eventually get discontinued by GM and other car makers which own a lot of car brands. I know a few people who stick to one brand.

But, most people I know seem to buy a car which is best for their needs, looks good to them, and they can afford.

At some point in the future, gas cars will be no longer a popular choice. Electric cars will slowly become more popular and much more affordable so I don't think they will get too annoyed.
