Anyone ever tried any of those weird diets you see on TV or Online like the Grapefruit diet, Cookie diet, Smoothie diet?

They claim you lose weight by just eating Grape fruit, Healthy Cookies, or drinking Smoothies which seem kind of hard to believe.

I never tried any of those diets, so I would not know if they work, or just scaming people's money.

Well right now I am cheating on a diet my trainer gave me. I mean I bet some of those diets work but they aren't very balanced which is very important!

I agree with you DS. If you look at some of those commercials, they hire the dumbest looking characters.

Actually, most all of these diets are unhealthy for you as they lack other nutrients that you need, to lose weight, kick it old school, Instead of eating out, make it yourself, or buy the healthy alternative. Take 20 minutes a day and walk, jog, or run. I run everyday. Also try to find ways to destress. Scientists have linked stress to some sort of fat(the exact one escapes my mind). So a walk in the park everyday. They also say that 1 hour of walking increases the amount of time you live by 2 hours. But people need to use common sense(as froggyboy is, as he is asking about it and seeing what other people are saying, the others also), and your greasy potato chips that you eat everyday, turn that into an apple. Instead of taking the elivator, take the steps.

Good points Stosh.

Your posts just made me remember a very meaty and fatty called the Atkins Diets where you only eat meat, and don't eat carbohydrates. I think it is one of the most unhealthy diets since too much meat can clog up your arterys.
