No, I don't use external battery powered chargers to charge my stuff like tablets, and phones.

Hmmm, if I travled a lot, I think I would.

They can be useful in emergencies if you get a lot of Power outages during storms. I think freeloaders will like this device since they can free load/borrow other people's electricity for free by plugging in the Battery pack to the Wall's power outlet, and charging their batteries for free.

I have seen some pretty cheap, easy to carry ones but I have never bothered with them myself. With all the stories of chargers causing phones to blow up, I don't really trust anything other than the official charger.

I think even the official chargers sometimes cause smartphone, and tablet batteries to blow up. I read some stories of people getting electrocuted by their charger, or their battery blowing up when in their pocket, or while charging.

I think its the Lithium-Ion Batteries which are the main problem because if the battery's casing get damage, or gets damage from heat, the battery could explode, or catch on fire.

I probably trust external chargers made by a trusted company like Belkin, Anker, Duracell, and Energizer.

I bet people who own smartphones with 6 to 7 inch screens, and play a lot of mobile games and video would find an external battery pretty useful. The battery can drain very quickly when the screen is on a lot, and the brightness is set high. Some of those 3D HD games and video for mobile devices also use a lot of battery power.

Nope. I have been looking into it, but it's not on my priority list. It's sounding like I'll need to do more research if I'm going to, and stick to more trusted brands. Don't want any explosions.

It goes without saying that if you plan to use your device heavily all day, you will need this.
I think those super thin bigger screen smartphones with thin or small batteries will need external batteries even when you use them lightly or regularly because thin and small batteries on thin smartphones carry less power most of the time compared to a thicker smartphone with a bigger thicker battery.

Unless your battery can't hold a charge well.
I think most batteries start wearing out, and can't hold as much electricity after you charge it a few hundred to thousand times, and the battery also breaks after many years of use, so these external battery chargers are good for those who have batteries which can't hold much electricity anymore, and it is hard to replace the phone batteries easily because the battery is glued, or screwed into the inner case of the phone.

Depends, sometimes i do but people are saying that isn't good for a battery.
I think it depends on the brand of external charger, and how many amps the charger has to charge the battery. Charging in general is not good for rechargeable battery since a mobile battery only has a maximum number of charges before it won't charge anymore, or hold much charge. But, the maximum number of charges is in the many hundreds to thousands of cycle. The battery also eventually break from other causes like moisture, oxidation, rust on the battery connectors/wires, and the chemicals like Lithium in the battery breaking down over time.
