Do you change the theme and adjust settings in Windows for better speed?

I use the Windows Classic Theme since it uses the less amount of RAM, CPU, and video card power in Windows 7. Plus, it is the theme I am used to most, and the menubar and titlebars for programs is not as big like the Aeroglass theme.

I also use a spare 4GB USB Flash Drive for Windows 7 Readyboost which seem to make launching programs slightly faster.

I also use Iobit Gamebooster to shutdown un-needed background processes like Print Spooler, Bluetooth, and other services and apps I don't use to free up RAM, and make CPU run less.

Doing these three simple things seem to make Windows 7 run faster on my older desktop computer.

nice tips, I use a few of those myself.
