Do you charge electronics with your PC's USB ports often?

No, I do not use my PC USB ports to charge often because I use my chargers with a USB charging port to charge my electronics.

I use to with some old MP3 players, but now I have a USB wall changer that works wonders.

Yeah, I may occasionally charge my camcorder by keeping it plugged into my PC's USB port while I edit videos. And sometimes I let my smartphone plugged into my laptop if I'm working on something. But other than that, I usually use chargers.

I've read its always faster to do it via wall charger.

I think the lower quality USB wall chargers sometimes are slower than computers' USB ports, with newer versions of USB like USB 3.1, USB Type C can charge faster because it can deliver more watts of  power to your devices.
