Do you do your own vehicle maintenance?

What types of things do you know how to do to maintain your vehicle? Who taught you?

I take my vehicle in for most maintenance and probably the only thing I know to do is change the light bulbs. Sometimes those can be difficult because of where they're located.

I wish I knew how to do more, but then again, it's easier to pay someone else to do it for me.

I wish I could do our vehicle maintenance but I'm not good at tech whatsoever & all the newer cars are tech.
My husband knows some & can learn. Some things he prefers just to take to the Auto Mechanic as they have those lifts that make it easier to get under.

No, I don't take on what I have no knowledge in. I know how much I bought my car, is it paying for maintenance I wouldn't be able to? Let the professional do their job.

I'm mechanically illiterate, so I leave it to people that know what they're doing, lol. Fortunately my sister is a whiz with engines, so she'll help a lot of the time!

That's nice. You get to save money off from her doing the mechanic jobs for you. She might charge you one day lol, better be prepared.

This is one of the easiest things to do but it still surprises me there are some people who can't do it lol.
