Yes, I sometimes download recommended apps in online app stores like if I download Temple Run, and if Google Play recommends that I download Temple Run 1, and Temple Run Brave, I usually consider downloading and installing it if I like Temple Run 2, or the descriptions, user reviews, and screenshots/videos for other Temple runs looks fun.

I sometimes just plan on searching for and installing 1 app, and end up installing many recommended apps because they look interesting on their app pages.

I only run Windows 7 on all devices. I only have a laptop and desktop. Bam!

But I also have a 3DS, school-issued iPad (I do not use its App Store.), a Wii, and a PS2.

I check it out but only to see what it is.

I do sometimes but only if the app that is being recommended to me I am interested in. I would not download an app that was being recommended just because it was there.
^ This.

I do use the recommended app feature to find stuff that can be considered as great, but I will only get apps or games that suit my tastes or needs.

I usually find most of my Apps made by smaller app makers in the recommended App section of a more popular App which is in the top 100 since a lot of the Recommended Apps are pretty good, but they don't make it into the top 100 apps list.

Google Play now also recommends the best apps by category which is picked by Google Staff and Editors, and most of the apps they recommend are pretty good.
