Do you ever feel like you're drifting away from the Anime Community?

Like not being able to relate the discussion pattern and all?
I am sure you must have had moments like that. So, what do you guys think?

I felt that way like 10 years ago when battle anime was really the only anime people watched. If I wanted to talk about other shows, the communities weren’t filled with people who were fun to talk to.
