Yes, I feel safer buying Apps, DLC, music, games, and other digital files from App stores like Steam, Xbox Live, iTunes, Amazon App Store, and Microsoft App store in Windows 8 then buying from a random website since more people use app stores, and have good experiences with them then a random website which sell digital products.

Also, a lot of app stores have user reviews, so if the app is a virus in disguise, some users might write a review to warn people, and give it a bad star rating like 0 out of 5.

Indeed, buying from random ebay and Amazon Marketplace sellers and websites can be fun sometimes.

Yep.. although I make sure that any alternative sites I go to are just as safe.
