Do you feel the bad economy is causing some spammers to spam less?

It is possible that some types of spam is less popular when the economy is very bad. I notice there is not as much Forex spam where spammers advertise spam sites for buying and selling money from other countries. Spam for expensive products like sports jersey for buying fake sports jerseys are not as common these days.

I guest, people these days are less interested in buying and selling Forex money from other countries, and fake sports jerseys when the economy is very bad because these things cost money, and are not free.

Spamming may not be earning as much money when the economy is bad because more people are not buying as many things from random spam sites, and people are more careful about spending their money when the economy is bad. I feel some spammers may of switch jobs to tasks like Cryptocurency mining where you earn some money, and don't risk getting arrested by the government for spamming and scamming people.

This week there was Korean spam, and was always post spam until ban.

I notice there is an more non-English language spam like Chinese and Russian spam on forums, and websites where almost all member post in English.

To be honest I am not so sure....but if the economy is not at it's best...then of course they can't afford many resources and everything goes downhill for them....but it's a great news for normal website users and owners in a way.

I think the more dedicated spammers who hire human spammers to spam for them may not hire many spammer staff, buy spamming software, and buy spam bots in a bad economy because there is a chance that they never make enough money to get back the money they spent on hiring human spammers, and buying spamming software and spam bots if not enough richer forum visitors who visit their spam site, and buy something from a spam site.

Oh man...I never thought even spamming requires money.
I suppose buying spam bots is no easy task then. I wonder why they would think they would work....oh well...

Spamming does require spammers spend money by buying a computer, internet connection, electricity, spamming software like spam bots , or hiring other spammers to rent their spam bots to spam on websites.

Sometimes a spammer's need to spend money to make a website which require web hosting, internet connection, a domain name, and website software like online store or payment software if they make money by selling stuff on their spam site.

Online spammer and scammers can make money from victims of scams on their spam forum if they spam millions of sites and trick enough victims, but spammers and scammers risk getting arrested, and having the police taking away all their money and needing to pay huge fines for spamming after going to jail.
