Yes, I find that I play games longer on a PC than other devices because I play games in full screen, so I lose track of time because there is no clock in front of me, and the clock on my computer desktop is covered because the game is in full screen.
Also, I sit closer to the monitor, and have a surround sound PC speaker system so I feel playing PC games are more immeresive, and realistic, so I tend to play longer.
Also, using a mouse and keyboard does not tire out my hand as much since I don't need to hold onto anything, and most of the games I play on PC don't require very fast button mashing.
It is also easier and faster to switch games when I am bored of one game by just exiting one game, and clicking a shortcut for a game on my desktop, or taskbar to launch another game without the need to switch disc and cartridges like consoles and handhelds. I can also download new games to play when I have no more games to play on PC because I finish them all.
Yeah, I find that I play PC games MUCH more than Console games, but I've always been like that. Quite simply they seem more enticing and more enveloping when you actually engage in a good fight.
A good example of one that I play more than I did when I had a 360 is Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edtiion Version 2012. I did play that a lot, but when one couldn't get Live Gold, the 360 seemingly was a paper weight, literally. With the PS3, Wii, and PC, you don't have Live Gold? Cool, play online for free. I've put a large amount of hours (About eighty or something. I can't track it because it isn't on Steam) into SSF4 since late April, and I see myself getting Ultra for the PS3 and PC, both for the full Retail price.
The in-game text chats for MMORPG, Real Time Strategy, and other online PC games sometimes seem to keep me staying longer since I enjoy games where people use text to chat in games since there are no annoying accents or different languages which I don't understand which can make some games less fun. I also don't need a microphone headset to talk to other players, and can just use the keyboard.
The best part of text chat in PC games is that I can play at night without making much noise, and waking other people up at night.
I also used to go on Pogo.com and other game sites to play checkers with people, and text chatted while playing checkers which made playing online checkers more fun.
I think even if you use voice chat to chat in PC games, you can adjust your microphone's audio settings for better mic sound, so other gamers hear you better.
I basically only use the computer. It is easy to use, fast, and has access to the internet so I can play MM2 and Empire Attack
Other devices I use are kinda out of date:
Windows 95 laptop - Frontier Elite
PS1 - Stuff
etc etc...
It is now possible to use other devices like the Nvidia Shield and Ouya to wirelessly stream PC Games to your devices to play PC games away from your PC, so I can see more people streaming PC games to their other devices instead of buying seperate more expensive or power hungry devices to play High Quality games on.
