I'm trying to develop the habit of doing it everyday - I haven't gotten it down yet. I'm always grossed out when I do because I can't believe I went years without going out of my way to fish out food that's lodged in between my gums.
I brush my teeth regularly and my dentist has told me that I'm in better condition than about 90 to 95 % better than the rest of his clients. And I forget to floss all the time. I do once in a while but only when I feel like I have something stuck between my teeth. I should do it on a regular basis.
I brush my teeth when I feel like it and floss when necessary or it bothers me. But most of the time I feel like even after I brush they still feel clean so I don't know what the deal is.
I do every other day; doesn't get as tedious that way. However, I do really try to do it daily. It helps when you have a piece of food stuck & since you have to get a piece of floss out to get said piece out, you may as well do the whole mouth
