My cellphone has a GPS feature, but I'm not sure what it is used for since I can't use it as a map. I think the cell company use it to see where their customers are calling from.

we don't have one, but when ever I get a car I will need it.

I use the GPS in my phone just because it's there. I wouldn't buy an actual GPS system just to have it though. I prefer pulling out the map and figuring out where I'm going and planning my own way instead of listening to a computer system.

It is also possible to have a GPS for your laptop or desktop with a simple USB GPS device and GPS software.
